Our Services

Sahara Dental Pomona offer a variety of services to help maintain and improve oral health. Some of the most common services include:

Teeth Cleaning: Also known as a dental prophylaxis, teeth cleaning involves removing plaque and tartar buildup from the teeth and gums. This is typically done every six months to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

Fillings: If a tooth has a cavity, a filling can be used to repair it. Fillings can be made of various materials, we mostly use composite (tooth-colored) materials.

Crowns: A crown is a type of dental restoration that covers the entire tooth. Crowns are used to protect a damaged tooth or to improve its appearance. They can be made of a variety of materials, our office use only full porcelain crowns with no metal in it.

Bridges: A bridge is a type of dental restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth. Bridges are anchored to the remaining teeth on either side of the gap and can be made of the same materials as crowns.

Extractions: In some cases, a tooth may need to be removed. This can be due to tooth decay, infection, or injury. Our office offers all types of extractions ranging from simple to surgical extraction with bone preservation (bone grafting)

Root Canal: A root canal is a procedure used to treat infected or inflamed tooth pulp. During the procedure, the dentist will remove the pulp, clean, and disinfect the canals, and then fill and seal them.

Dentures: Dentures are removable appliances that can replace one or more missing teeth. There are two types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures replace all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw, while partial dentures replace only some of the teeth.

Dental Braces: Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that specializes in the correction of misaligned teeth and jaws. Orthodontic treatments offered at our office include traditional metal braces, clear braces, and Invisalign.

Cosmetic Dentistry: Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dentistry that focuses on improving the appearance of the teeth and smile. Services include teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, and cosmetic crowns.

Dental implants:  Dental implant is small titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once the implant has fused to the jawbone (a process called osseointegration), a replacement tooth (called an abutment) is attached to the implant. This replacement tooth can be a crown, bridge, or denture.

Overall, dental offices provide a wide range of services to help you maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. It's important to visit your dentist regularly for check-ups and cleanings, and to seek treatment as soon as you notice any problems with your teeth or gums.
